What ships on June 16?
The full product. Two agents — Inventory + CX — connecting to Shopify and Gorgias. Stripe is live, the dashboard is polished, the morning brief lands in your inbox by 7am. We’re not cutting features to hit the date.
Is this safe to plug into my store?
Read-only by default. Every action that writes to Shopify or Gorgias is gated behind your approval. Auto-approve thresholds are opt-in and per-action. Every action is logged. You can revoke any integration in two clicks.
What if I sell on Amazon, Walmart, or wholesale too?
Then we’re probably not the right fit. Ballfield goes deep on Shopify — your catalog, your orders, your CX queue, your Shopify-side ops. We don’t pull Amazon inventory, Walmart pricing, or wholesale POs, and we’re not planning to. If multi-channel is the heart of your business, look at Cogsy or Inventory Planner. If Shopify is 90%+ of your revenue and the long tail is rounding error, we’re built for you.
What if an agent gets it wrong?
Nothing ships without your approval on day one. You see the call, the math behind it, and either approve, edit, or skip. If we’re consistently wrong on a SKU or ticket pattern, tell us — the agents adjust to your feedback.
Will the CX Agent reply in my voice or sound like a robot?
It mirrors your last 50 sent tickets in Gorgias to learn your tone, signoffs, and how you handle common cases. You review the first batch of drafts before any auto-send is unlocked. Most operators keep human-in-the-loop on every reply for the first month, then enable auto-send for routine categories.
What if my Shopify SKUs are a mess?
We key off variant ID and product title when SKU codes are missing or inconsistent, and flag them in the brief so you can clean up. We don’t require perfect data — we get better the more you give us.
How is this different from Inventory Planner / Northbeam / Gorgias native AI?
Those are dashboards. They show you alerts. We draft the action. Inventory Planner tells you a SKU is low — we draft the supplier email with the PO quantity. Gorgias native AI summarizes your queue — we draft replies in your voice, ready to approve and send.
